The website CasaPractic.ro (“the Site”) is operated by:

By accessing and using the Site, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. When you buy a paid service, these terms also apply to the distance contract concluded between you and the operator of the Site.

These terms are supplemented by the Privacy policy, the Cookie policy and the Affiliate policy.

CasaPractic.ro offers free of charge, without an account, material calculators, cost estimates and guides on renovation, building, energy and home improvement. In addition, the Site offers features that require an account and, in some cases, payment:

• the Plus and Pro subscriptions (monthly);
• one-off paid services (for example: complete renovation calculator, AI analysis of a cost estimate, quote comparison, smart shopping list, 2D planner, “My house in 3D” project, additional renovation projects);
• the “My home” digital archive (annual subscription);
• credits for conversations with the virtual assistant Cipică.

The description, content and price of each service are those shown on the Site at the time of the order.

The account is created with your email address. You sign in either with a sign-in link sent by email, valid for 15 minutes, or with email and password (after confirming the address with a code sent by email); both methods lead to the same account. You are responsible for the security of your email address and password and for the activity in your account. Please use a valid address that belongs to you.

You can ask at any time for your account to be closed and your data deleted by writing to contact@casapractic.ro. We may suspend an account that is used abusively or in breach of these terms.

Prices are set in Romanian lei (RON) and are the final price you pay. On the English pages they are also shown converted into your currency, for information only, using the European Central Bank reference rate; these converted amounts are approximate.

Payment is made online by card through the payment processor Stripe. At checkout, Stripe may offer to charge you in your local currency at its own exchange rate, which includes a conversion fee (typically 2–4%) set and charged by Stripe; the amount and currency shown on the Stripe payment page before you confirm the payment are final. You can also choose to pay in RON, in which case your bank's exchange rate and fees may apply.

Card details are entered directly on Stripe's secure page; CasaPractic.ro does not receive, see or store them. After payment you receive a confirmation email from Stripe.

For every payment (including every subscription month) we issue a tax invoice in the name or company you entered at checkout, which you receive by email. The steps and a sample invoice are on the Invoicing page.

The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed. We reserve the right to change prices in the future; a change does not affect orders already paid, and for active subscriptions we will notify you before the new price applies.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly for Plus and Pro, yearly for the Archive), charging the same card, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the My account page (“Manage subscription”). After cancellation, the benefits remain active until the end of the period already paid and the subscription is not renewed.

While active, the Pro subscription includes 30 Cipică credits with every successful monthly payment, as well as unlimited use of the services listed on the subscription page. The exact benefits of each subscription are those described on the My account page at the time of subscribing.

Credits are used for messages sent to the Cipică assistant (a text message uses 1 credit; messages with an image or messages in certain tools may use more credits, as shown in the application). Credits are tied to your account, have no monetary value, are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for money. If a message cannot be processed because of a technical error, the credit used is returned automatically.

Invite a friend. From your account you can send a personal invitation link. If a person who does not yet have an account opens this link, creates an account within 30 days and makes a first payment, you each receive 5 free credits, once per invited account. You cannot invite yourself. If the payment is refunded or the programme is abused (for example, through accounts created only for the bonus), we may withdraw the credits received in this way. We may change or end the programme at any time without affecting credits already granted.

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason (Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, transposed in Romania by Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014). To exercise it, send us a clear statement of your decision to withdraw — for example by email to contact@casapractic.ro, with the email address of your account and the service concerned. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you are not obliged to. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice before the withdrawal period expires.

Exception for digital content supplied immediately. One-off paid services (generated analyses and reports, unlocking a calculator, plan or project) and Cipică credits are supplied immediately after payment. By completing the order, you expressly consent to the supply starting immediately and acknowledge that, once the content has been supplied, you lose your right of withdrawal (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; Article 16(m) of GEO no. 34/2014). Credits already used are not refunded.

Subscriptions. If you withdraw within 14 days of the first payment of a subscription, we refund the amount paid, reduced in proportion to the period elapsed until your withdrawal and to the benefits already used (for example, credits used or included services already generated), as you requested that the service start during the withdrawal period. Later monthly or yearly payments are not refunded, but you can cancel the renewal at any time.

Technical errors. If a paid service cannot be delivered because of an error on our side (for example, the AI analysis fails), the payment is refunded automatically and in full. Refunds are made to the card used for payment within 14 days at the latest; for payments made in your local currency through Stripe, the refund is made in that currency at the exchange rate of the original payment.

Cipică and the automatic analyses (cost estimate, quote comparison, shopping list, receipt scanning, My house in 3D) use artificial intelligence models. The answers are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. They are for information only and do not replace the advice of a qualified professional (structural engineer, licensed electrician, gas or heating engineer, etc.).

Do not send through these features personal data of other people or sensitive information that is not needed for your question. Details on how this data is processed can be found in the Privacy policy.

You remain the owner of the files and data you upload (photos, estimates, receipts, archive documents, project and quote data). You grant us the limited right to store and process them strictly to provide the services you request. You warrant that you have the right to upload that content and that it does not infringe the rights of others or the law.

If you use the Pro features to manage your customers' data (quotes, customers, payments), you are the controller of that data and are responsible for the lawfulness of its processing; CasaPractic.ro acts only as a technical provider.

All results produced by the calculators (material quantities, estimated costs, energy demand, etc.) are for guidance only and are based on general formulas and average market rates. Cost estimates are based on prices in the Romanian market. They do not constitute technical, financial or engineering advice and do not replace an estimate prepared by a professional who assesses the actual situation on site.

For structural work (foundations, columns, beams, floor slabs), consulting a qualified structural engineer is mandatory. We accept no liability for technical or financial decisions taken solely on the basis of information on the Site.

The Site contains affiliate links to partner stores, from which we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Details in the Affiliate policy. The Site also shows advertising through Google AdSense; we are not responsible for the content of advertisements or of third-party websites.

Donations made with the “Donate” button are voluntary and given without anything in return, and are processed by Stripe. They are not payment for a service and are generally not refunded; if you donated by mistake, write to us at contact@casapractic.ro.

The content of the Site (texts, calculators, design, logo, the Cipică character) is protected by copyright and belongs to the operator, except for material explicitly marked as coming from other sources. You may share links to pages, but you may not reproduce or redistribute the content without prior written consent. You may freely use the reports, lists and plans generated for you, for personal or professional purposes.

Do not use the Site in a way that affects its operation (for example, large-scale automated data extraction, attacks on the infrastructure, circumventing technical limits or payments), to send illegal content or for illegal purposes.

The Site is provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts to keep the services available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the absolute accuracy of the information. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a paid service is limited to the amount paid for that service. These limitations do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

For any complaint, write to us at contact@casapractic.ro; we reply within 30 days at the latest. If we cannot reach a solution, you may contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (anpc.ro) or use its alternative dispute resolution procedure (SAL). If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country (ECC-Net) can help with cross-border complaints free of charge.

We may update these terms from time to time. The applicable version is the one published on this page, with the date of the last update shown above. For important changes affecting active subscriptions, we will notify you by email.

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of habitual residence, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence.
